No transshipment
The goods are loaded once and unloaded once. That keeps handling risk low for heavy machinery, delicate equipment and high-value freight crossing the border.
Tail-lift & pallet-jack on request
Loading or unloading help at either end — a tail-lift, pallet jack or an extra pair of hands — can be arranged when you submit the request.
Intra-EU: no customs, reverse-charge VAT
The Netherlands and Germany both sit inside the EU single market, so freight moves between them without customs clearance, import declarations or duties. There is no border paperwork holding your shipment up — it is ordinary intra-EU road carriage, which is what makes a same-vehicle, door-to-door move so practical on this corridor.
Transport takes place under carrier liability in accordance with the CMR convention that governs international road carriage. We do not describe cargo as "insured"; a higher liability limit can be arranged on request when you state the value and nature of the shipment. For business-to-business shipments across the border, invoicing follows the EU reverse-charge mechanism, so VAT is accounted for by the recipient in their own country and no Dutch VAT is charged on the transport service.
Delivery times depend on the route, the loading requirements and vehicle availability, and are confirmed per request rather than promised as a fixed window. About the Netherlands–Germany route
Are there customs formalities between the Netherlands and Germany?
No. Both countries are inside the EU single market, so goods move between the Netherlands and Germany without customs clearance or import duties. It is straightforward intra-EU road carriage.
How does VAT work on this route?
For business-to-business transport across the border we apply the EU reverse-charge mechanism. VAT is accounted for by the recipient in their own country, so no Dutch VAT is charged on the transport service.
